Emily Ahlering

For Emily Ahlering, real estate is about both client and agent relationships and the art of the deal.

After graduating from Miami of Ohio, Emily moved to Chicago and spent several years working in hospitality and sales. In the Spring of 2015, she decided to pursue a career in Real Estate and joined Mandel Residential of @properties. Emily’s quick study and likeminded business approach allowed the team to exceed all expectations and build a business entirely based on referrals and repeat clients. Emily is still highly connected to her Chicago network and real estate team.

In 2022, after having their son, Emily and her family decided to move back to her hometown of Columbus. She is thrilled to join Cutler and the Vutech | Ruff team.

Emily’s attention to detail and experience managing many moving parts has made real estate a natural fit. An attentive listener, she thoroughly comprehends all of the different needs of her clients and works to get the results they need. With a particular interest and eye for design, she is able to assist her clients to curate spaces that maximize their dollar if selling, and envision their dream space if they are purchasing. She is committed to providing an exemplary customer service experience and is excited to share her enthusiasm for Columbus and its neighborhoods.

Anna Vutech

Born and raised in Columbus, Anna studied Entrepreneurship and Art History at DePaul University in Chicago. Over the next five years she honed her selling skills working in sales of home remodeling design, art and rare furnishings, and as a kitchen designer for bespoke Italian cabinetry at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago. Realizing she lacked an in-depth understanding of the appliances that served as the foundation of her designs, she spent two years working with a leading appliance manufacturer in San Francisco. It was this drive to think through challenges as holistically and thoroughly as possible and her love of helping people that led her to selling real estate in the Bay Area with Kim Cole Real Estate. After three incredible years in real estate across the East Bay, she and her partner decided it was time to move closer to family in the Midwest. Coming back to Columbus after 10 years living elsewhere has brought a newfound appreciation for this beautiful place we call home.

Anna’s strengths are her transparency, tenacity, and friendly demeanor. Above all else, she loves getting to know people and helping them achieve their goals in buying or selling a home. In her free time, you can find her hiking, reading non-fiction, tending to her garden, and visiting every flea market and vintage shop she can find.

Marilyn Vutech

She has been a member and volunteer for the German Village Society since the 1980’s, a member of TWIG 3 (fundraising organization for Nationwide Children’s Hospital) and a member of WPO (Women’s Professional Organization).  In her free time she gardens, keeps chickens and honeybees, and continues her passion for hiking and cycling. The latter can be seen as she participates in the Pelotonia fundraiser every year.

Kate Giller

Kate specializes in residential properties throughout Central Ohio. She and her husband live in Bexley in the home where they raised their 3 adult children. When she is not selling real estate, she loves to work out or host friends at their house. Kate has served on the board of Columbus School for Girls and the Burt Lake Cottagers Association in Michigan. She is also an experienced renovator, having renovated two homes in Bexley and one in Michigan. Kate is an active participant and supporter of Pelotonia, having ridden 80 or more miles every year and occasionally riding all 200 miles.

Jeff Ruff

Jeff was licensed in 1990 joining Brunner Realtors after spending a number of years operating an exclusive men’s clothing store in German Village and later in Downtown Columbus.  As a lifelong resident of Columbus, Jeff has a great reputation working with clients relocating to Central Ohio helping them to understand neighborhoods along with highlights of Columbus including the arts, restaurants and an extensive list of service providers needed to get settled in a new city.  Also, when looking in Columbus’ historic neighborhoods, no one has a better understanding of the history that makes these areas so special.  Beyond this, Jeff has gained a reputation for representing unique and historic properties throughout the Central Ohio area.

Besides loving representing sellers and buyers, Jeff’s other passion is horses!!!  After living in German Village for over 25 years, Jeff and his life partner, Roy, made the move to a small farm on the northern edge of New Albany pursuing his passion of raising, training and showing his horses at hunter/jumper shows throughout the Midwest.  This has also given him the unique opportunity to find properties for those who share his passion for horses.  Jeff is also a member of Rocky Fork Headley Hunt and donates regularly to organizations who bring therapeutic interactions with horses to kids with special needs or behavioral issues including Dreams on Horseback and PBJ Connections along with others.  To say that Jeff is a true animal lover would be an understatement as many who know him appreciate!!!

Jacquie Goumas Fox

Unlike most every other realtor, I have not had a long and storied career outside of the real estate industry. I started in residential real estate in 1986. In 1989 I moved into the commercial side of the equation, working in sales/leasing and marketing projects for a Columbus based developer. In the mid 1990’s I jumped to the Title Insurance and Escrow side of our industry where I enjoyed a sixteen-year career owning and operating one of the most successful title agencies in Central Ohio. In 2010 I came back into residential real estate sales, where in truth my heart has always been.

I joined the Vutech|Ruff team of Cutler Real Estate in 2017 and haven’t looked back. First and foremost, we are a team of agents with effective strategies and superior services offering our clients guidance for a stress and pressure-free experience. In the last three years we sold over $500 million dollars in Residential Sales throughout the Central Ohio Market Place and 2023 has us off to an amazing start. Being a long time Central Ohio resident, I am very familiar with the local communities, schools, and my in-depth knowledge of the market can help you make the informed decisions when purchasing or selling one of the biggest investments of your life. I believe the role as your Realtor is to guide you through the buying and/or the selling process, and really taking the time to make sure you understand the transaction.

When I’m not staging homes, marketing properties for sale, or consulting with clients, I am giving back to my community as a member of the Mental Health America Board and a Board Member of Hospice of Central Ohio. In my downtime I love to cook and play golf. I am a DIY home decorator, animal lover, hockey fan, and amateur wine connoisseur. I don’t always know that I am terrible at sports. I sometimes run with scissors, and don’t always share my toys in the sand box. I will be the first to tell you if you have a brilliant idea and also the first to tell you if your idea is not so great, so in my mind in all balances out. I am great team player, but a better team leader. I understand the variety of facets involved in the real estate process and I am here to make it a smooth and stress free as possible! My “All In” and out-of-box thinking, negotiation skills, and years of experience combined will deliver to you the highest quality of service.

Jacquie

Experience is the Difference.
